Fairy Goats in East Aurora
Share
One of my favorite things to do nowadays is dress my goats up, and take them out for events!
So when my friend Kathryn asked me if she could borrow my goats for the East Aurora Fairy Garden, it was a no brainer. Absolutely!
East Aurora, New York is a small village not too far from the city of Buffalo. It's considered a "Right to Farm Community," and you'll see signs scattered throughout the village reminding you of this. So why not do an event right in East Aurora, where goats and farm critters are cherished?
The EA Fairy Garden is a cool local secret, run by one of the community members. This year, they hosted a Fairy Garden event, where the kids got fairy wings, ice cream, and built up the local town fairy garden.
When I found out that my goats were invited to the EA Fairy Garden event, I sprung right into action, finding them some cute little fairy wings (Dollar Tree for the win here!)
Originally, the fairy garden event was set for Saturday. However, things change... and it rained on Saturday. Neither goats nor fairies like to get their wings wet, so they used their rain date for the fairy garden.
Kathryn came and rounded up my cute little babies, whisked them away to their enchanted fairy garden, and it started to rain. I was a little worried and texted her, but she reassured me that the rain stopped pretty quickly, and Pepé (black goat with blue wings) was a quick thinker and found shelter under his brother, Ferdie.
Having something like this in our small community is such a cool blessing (maybe even a fairy blessing? Do fairies do blessings?), and I'm thankful my goats had the opportunity to participate as little Fairy Princes!
