Unique Goat Breeds

Every so often, we see that viral picture of the Damascus goat going around...you know, that one that starts out SO CUTE as a kid, but turns into this giant flat faced beast of a goat.

It's so interesting looking, but what is CRAZY to me, is that this goat--it's what made Flops, my Nubian goat!

This is when Flops was a kid, when she first came to our farm. She's a lot bigger now! And now that she's older and she's had her first kid--she has become my favorite goat (shhhh don't tell the others!)

She milks SO well, and her milk is amazing!  

We all look at these Damascus goats and think WOW... that's crazy! Or... I'd love to have one of them!

But really, you might have some of that DNA in your herd already! That's kind of cool!
